I don't believe that I have any real triggers. That being said, I'm not big on smut, pwp, etc. I'm primarily a gen fan, though I don't mind if there's a romantic subplot or if you include pairings, so long as they aren't front and center. (Example: A and B are both Starfleet officers. They are also dating. It's fine to give me a fic in which they are both on an away team, meet a new alien life form, avert a war... and even kiss at the end and promise to go for a romantic getaway on the holodeck when they get back to the ship. But I'd rather not read a fic that focuses on a romantic dinner followed by a night of passion.)
Marital infidelity is a squick of mine. If it happened in canon and you need to refer to it briefly, that's fine.
And I'm not a huge fan of gratuitous M/MA-rated gore.
Crueltide? I don't mind if a fic goes dark, but I like happy endings. By 'happy,' I don't necessarily mean fluffy bunnies and unicorns. But at least ending on an upbeat. "They did their worst. They put me through 9 layers of Hell. But I'm still here and I swear that there will be a reckoning..."
For the fandoms listed, here's a brief rundown of what I'd love. (Though really, apart from the squicks/dislikes above, I'm pretty flexible. So if you've got a great idea for an Action/adventure fic, where I said I prefer comedy... go ahead and write the action/adventure.
Daredevil (comics): I'm here for the bromance. I don't ship these characters with each other, but if you want to include other characters in the fic and have some romance as a subplot, that's fine. As long as you have the Matt-Foggy friendship front and center, you can include anyone else you want to (nominated or otherwise). Oh and I should mention that I'm not a purist. Meaning that if you want to include Karen Page, but you think her comics personality pales compared to her portrayal on the Netflix show—or if you've got Matt and Foggy discussing a tenants rights case and you want to refer back to 'the time they were ready to take on Armand Tully', I'm fine. As long as you're setting it in the Comics universe, you can import elements from other media if it suits you. Oh and I'm not fussy about the Volumes. I've read all of 2–4 and whatever parts of 1 are available at Comixology and Marvel Unlimited. I've found things to love about almost all story arcs.
Princeless: I love this comic with the intensity of a million fiery suns. Give me action, give me adventure, friendship, comedy, satire, as many other characters as you want, so long as it's Adrienne-centric. Please no Crueltide for this one. Angst is fine—especially if it's overblown, melodramatic teen angst over something which Adrienne will probably look back on one day and laugh but is a complete and utter catastrophe. Big fan of genfic.
Spider-Gwen: Matt and Gwen. Give me some sort of confrontation between the two, either shipping (frenemies), uneasy alliance, friendship, whatever.
